FAO: Commanding Officer; Sir. I am organising a special event on August Bank Holiday Monday, the 29th August where we have arranged for the RAF Falcons Parachute display Team to jump into our cricket field in Essendon, on the B158, off the A414 between Hatfield and Hertford.
The Falcons will be moving among the crowd after the jump distributing literature and gifts and will then be taking part in the Tug O War against (I hope) the Fire Service and maybe a village team.
I wondered if it might be possible for a contingent of cadets to help us. The event team need help getting things ready on the field, working out the jump zone and setting up stalls and attractions. The falcons would really appreciate assigning a cadet to help the as they do the PR with the crowd and if your cadets would enjoy it, we could use them to augment the tug O War teams as well.
This is a big ask, I understand but the RAF connection could be very interesting for the cadets as well as a huge help to me and my team.
I am happy to meet with you if you need me to, meantime, please consider my request.
    Kind regards
    Thank you.
